Surfing Lessons
Though surfing lessons take different approaches, it mostly starts with lying on your board in the sand to practice popping up. Popping up is going from the paddling position to the upright stand up position. Of course, this takes place when the surfer has caught the wave.
When you're a beginner, ideally, you need to work on smaller waves to make it easy for you to manage. For an inexperienced surfer, dealing with bigger waves right away is not only a wrong approach but it is flatly dangerous.
A word of caution: you should not hold your surfboard in a position wherein a wave could knock it back into your face. It could cause an injury. Remember, surfing should be fun.
Aside from his main responsiblity as the Program Director of Shore Break Drug Rehab, Michael is also the surfing instructor. He's not only there for you to help you successfully recover from drug addiction, he'll also take you to a wonderful surfing experience!
New York DUI
Here at DUIFoundation.org, we hope to reinforce the ideal that a single drunk driving accident can permanently have a negative impact on you, passengers in your vehicle, and anyone else involved in the disaster (drivers and passengers in other automobiles and even pedestrians).
